Let's look over those fabrics!!!!

This time is getting closer for this mystery to begin. This is just following the current mystery I am working on. It musts means 2 additional quilts that will need to be hand quilting during my retirement years soon to begin.

So I picked out my own fabrics mostly due to cost but also to be slightly different from others. I needed to mark the fabrics so I do not get confused, most of these fabrics are gone and will not be able to reorder so I do not want to make any cutting mistakes. I do have some extra yardage as I had to purchase by the yard. (Thousands of bolts is where I got my fabrics).

I love the details in these fabrics and hope they work well with the design. Each one is a little different but colors are keeping within the colors for Team Carson. So looking forward to this mystery as I very much loved the pictures of last years but found it a bit late. We so enjoy this show and look forward to this years season.

20 days until Downton Abbey Mansion mystery

Just checking in and anxious to begin this mystery. Currently involved in a mystery that will end just prior to this one. Probably will not complete that one as this one begins. This one may even be on hi,d during our trip this spring to Arizona for 2 months.
First I have to give notice to my play of employment and step back ( an early retirement) from nursing. 35 years and most recent 9 years plus. But Loki g forward to this new an exciting future with my spouse. We are both in good health and plan to spend upcoming years traveling and enjoying our retirement.
So next time will be documenting my progress on this mystery quilt.

My fabric choices for the mystery

I decided on these fabrics from one thousand boldts fabrics because they have great prices and great quality. They are very close to those used in the Team Carson Theme. I love them.

I love the blue green fabric and the red. We'll see how it turns out...2 more months to wait.

Update...

I have gotten most of my fabrics recently from Thousands of bolts...great service, good quality and great price. I have 2 more fabrics to get and found them at Joann's yesterday. I will follow the same color scheme, but more reasonably priced fabrics. This will start at the first of the year..just as I am ending another mystery if I keep up.
We will be traveling to Arizona February around the 20th...so may need to bring sewing machine..or wait until we return home in April to catch up. We'll see on my progress. Would like to limit sewing stuff first time down to hand sewing  which I have plenty to choose from and maybe bring a quilt to hand quilt.
